I know it's been a while since Blizzard released the news of Legion, and I still have not gotten off the hype train yet! I know a lot of people have there reservations on the new expansion, and can you really blame them after the flop of Warlords? But I'm not going to waste any more time talking about that. Instead, we're going to focus on what is hopefully coming up!
I had watched previous Blizzcons with the virtual ticket and chatted with people on Twitter and Battle.net, but this was a whole different experience. I was watching it with a few online friends, and it felt like everyone in the community was buzzing. I think people just wanted hope for the next thing to be better than what we have now. I won't lie, I was nervous and excited. Even after reading all the different expansion speculations, I wasn't sure what to expect. All I know is that after Gul'dan placed his hand on that fel prison, I lost it.
As the crystal pulses green: "That can't be Illidan, can it?"
Seeing the outline of the horns and hearing the music: "... OMG IT'S ILLIDAN!"
Then everyone lost it. I was on board with anything after that! I have to say that I am most excited to explore the new zones and check out the class halls. I also love the idea of artifact weapons. Finally, as if everything else didn't have my mind buzzing - demon hunters! Yes. I immediately saved two names that I'm contemplating using, and of course the RP lover in me is already working on a bit of a backstory for them. Of course I'm also excited to fully immerse my warlock into this expansion as well.
So far things are looking really good, and I cannot wait to see more about the expansion at Blizzcon. As always, I purchased a virtual ticket and a goody bag this year. I'm really thankful for Blizzard allowing home viewers the opportunity to get the bags since I probably will never be able to attend the con itself. I'm perfectly fine watching from my couch and chatting with everyone.
I won't lie, I am a bit nervous that this is going to be quite a hefty expansion with a lot of things to cover. I'm just hoping everything makes it and things aren't cut and left with lose ends. I'm going to try to remain optimistic about everything and hope that Blizzard will steer us into the right direction with this one.

Post 6.1 - What Am I Doing?
So me and Pigletoos are sitting around last night and chatting about a few things when he asks "how long has it been since you've written a blog post?" I check... it's been over a month! Quite frankly, I have nothing of any interest to talk about, so I guess I will catch everyone up on what's going in in Velgana's world.
Since 6.1 my gameplay has decreased dramatically. Usually I'm really excited to level up alts through the content again, and it's just not the case this time. I have other alts I've been leveling through older content, but by the time they hit level 90, I move on to the next one. This past weekend I finally did the Tanaan starting zone on my troll priest, so I'm slowly making progress with her... slowly. Sadly, Pigletoos didn't stick around, and he temporarily deactivated his subscription. He said he will come back before the end of the expansion. Sometimes a break is a great thing!
The good things to come out of 6.1... more junk to collect! One of the first things I did after the patch launched was fish my little heart out until I caught enough lunkers to buy the sea calf. I couldn't be happier with it, and it's currently always following me around! I wasn't one of the lucky ones to get the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera right away, but the mission for it finally did pop up. I just got the extra lens for it that made it a toy, so now I can take advantage over making all my alts looks silly!
I've also been on the hunt for the Void Talon mount. I was pretty obsessed with it after someone on twitter mentioned it. I haven't been "camping" it like some people though. I'll have to dedicate some time to doing that soon. I've have been running old raids for mount. Still no Invincible yet, but I got Experiment 12-B. It's such a funky colored mount. I think it looks pretty decent with my tier 3, don't you think?
Now, the next thing I want to talk about involves the 6.1 legendary quest line. I will be talking about spoilers under the cut, so if you don't want to be spoiled, thank you for reading, and I'll see you again soon! If you've seen the spoiler cinematic and wish to continue, follow me this way.
