Hello everyone! I would like to say since last week I have accomplished most of the things on my to-do list. RL stuff has had me more immersed into Azeroth lately than anything. Vel and I escape together and go off on wonderful adventures.

Sunday my Sumprush Rodent crate drop was a success. I didn't broadcast to anyone but a few close people that I was dropping one. I wanted me and my boyfriend to get a chance to get a rare before anyone else. I managed to finally get one after about 10 minutes; Pigletoos got one after about 14 minutes. I'm wondering if there would be any demand for me to grind out another 2000 marks for some other desperate Skywall players to capture a rodent. Leave me a comment if you'd like me to do this. It doesn't take long to farm with my AOE damage.

I'd also like to give a big shout out to the guild Stage Clear! *waves* You don't know how wonderful you guys are!

This post was short and sweet. I want to relax for the rest of the week and try to get my mind back to normal. RL stuff should be definitely cleared up soon and I will be feeling back to my normal self.

First I would like to start off by saying I am extremely proud of the Horde for finally getting a kill on Galleon last week. Even though I didn't get anything, I love my achievement dearly! But seriously, it was great.

Now more importantly, I'm at a point right now where I feel that I have a lot to accomplish before patch 5.2. I've decided to compile a list for myself so I can keep organized and sane in the next few weeks.

- Get 6000 valor.
I am now on the part of the Wrathion quest-line where I need to earn 6,000 valor to progress. This is going to be hard for me since I only do a few LFRs and minimal dailies now. Since my boyfriend is leveling up his alt, I think I will do dailies with him, so that will help a bit. As far as LFR... I'll do what I can.

-Grind out 600 Lion Landing Comissions.
Hopefully I can start up those dailies again or at least grind out 50-100 a day so I can get my Swamprush Rodent crate for myself and some friends.

- Get exalted with the Warcraft Pets guild.
I reached half way last night. I think I can manage to get exalted in another day or so. I will probably be level 31 or 32 after that. After I hit exalted with them, I need to see about getting into another guild that has a mini pet for completing challenge modes. Another small grind, but it will be alright.

- Finish the rares that are capturable.
I'm very close to being finished with this. A lot of the uncommon pets I have need to be upgraded with stones that I'm hoping to get through dailies and leveling up more pets to 25. This is going to make me crazy... or am I already crazy?

I think that pretty much coverts it for now. I also have my druid that is stuck at level 88. I need to focus on her soon too, but I think I will wait until I am pretty much done these things on my list. Also, if you haven't checked it out already, there is a wonderful post up on the Sha of Happiness site. I think it deserves a read.

This post is going to be dedicated to pet battle troubles and raptors. :)

I will first start off by saying that I try not to be a mean person in the game. However, I will say that I am pretty cut throat when it comes to capturing wild pets or getting rare spawn kills. That being said, I have had some pretty mean but funny things happen to me in the past two days. When I go about pet collecting, I usually stick my alts in different areas so that I don't have to keep flying back and fourth between places. I had my warrior camping the Flayer Youngling in Terokkar Forest for about a week with no luck on finding a rare. I logged on Saturday night after work and saw a little green paw; so I fought it. During my battle I see someone spit on me. Now I usually see things on my screen before most people... it's the joys of having a high performance computer. So, this person was either upset that I got to it before them or was just a plain douche. Either way, I would like to thank them for the spit because the second one I battled a few seconds later was a rare! :)
Now last night I logged on for the Wander's Festival in hopes of getting a rare turtle. They had a ton of people around and really no area of the beach was without someone there. Like before, I see the paws pop on my screen before most people so I was able to battle one before the druid who was close to me. I guess they either were upset that I got to it first or accidentally got into battle with the big elite turtle, but regardless they were fighting it right on top of me... I'm thinking they were hoping it would do damage to me and kill me or kick me from my battle. No luck for them... not only did I get to battle one, but it was a rare too. :)
So a word to anyone who sees me out in the world collecting rares of pets... I will not hesitate to steal it from right under your nose. First come, first serve. Sorry.

Velgana has always had a love for raptors since TBC. I remember when I was finally able to do the Darkspear troll reputation grind to get a mount. This was a very proud moment for me

I was excited to have collected all the raptor hatchlings when they came out (including the one that used to drop in Zul Gurub even though I never got the old mounts). When I read the patch notes from 5.2, I was thrilled at the addition of the Zandalari Hatchling - MINI OONDASTA! A few days later I was even more excited when I saw you will be able to get a white raptor mount with some dedication (like 10,000 bones dedication). This I will have. This I can and will do!

I've been making steady progress getting things done that I always wanted to. The next thing on my list is to grind out more of the Lion's Landing Commissions so I can get my mini pet. Not too many things to do... it just seems like time passes by too fast though.

Happy New Year everyone. Even though I still didn't get my sword, I just know great things will be happening in 2013!

Let me start off by saying, the more I see from patch 5.2, the more excited I get! I think the new tier sets look wonderful... especially the mage! I also think that the raid will be amazing. I love how big the place is and I cannot wait to see it full of mobs, bosses, and other animations. I think it will be one of the most epic raids ever. It makes me want to go out and find a guild to raid with... maybe...

And holy crap... I finally got around to finishing the Dominance Offensive quests. I love where this is going. Vel couldn't be more upset about the situation in Dalaran and with the direction Garrosh is leading the Horde in.

I've managed to collect all of the wild Pandaria mini pets in rare quality. It was a wonderful goal to have completed. I am now attempting the rest. It isn't proving as difficult as I thought it would be. I wanted to get it done before 5.2 because of the damage that your pets will take when forfeiting a battle. I know it's looked down upon, but that's just how I do things.

It's a pretty quiet time for Vel right now. Darkmoon Faire is in town so I think we'll go get some noms and tickets to ride some rides. Have a good week everyone!
